We started out only planning to be her "foster" family, until the National Anatolian Shepherd Rescue Network (NASRN - see www.NASRN.org) could find her a forever home...
Needless to say, Poole, Petey, and Sandy asked if she could stay. They promised they would help her to understand how to be a guardian dog!
She's a LGD-in-training, but gets to help Poole guard the pasture at night, since the sheep sleep in a fenced night pen. That way she gets to know the sheep, but is separated from them by a fence.
We think she's a real cutie.
